When using an iPhone hotspot, the TaHoma Switch will not find your personal hotspot during a Wi-Fi search. This is because the iPhone personal hotspot broadcasts at the 5GHz band. However you can switch the Personal Hotspot to operate at the 2.4GHz by the doing the following:

1. Open "settings"
2. SELECT "Personal Hotspot"
3. SLIDE the "Maximize Compatibility" toggle to ON position

Once this is done, the iPhone Personal Hotspot will be visible in the Wi-Fi list when setting up the TaHoma Switch. This can be helpful when setting up demos at a hotel or at locations where there are firewalls setup.
