How many batteries do I need for my battery wand?
Somfy’s battery-powered motors mean it’s simple to keep your motorized window coverings charged. Using regular lithium batteries, you can quickly and easily replace the batteries in your Somfy-powered window covering once they run out of juice.
Each battery wand requires 8 AA batteries, lithium recommended:
If you’re using the Solar pack accessory kit, then 10 Ni-MH batteries are required.
