Can legacy and newer mylinks work together in the same system?
If you have a legacy myLink™ and a current myLink, can they work together?
If you have a legacy myLink and a current myLink, you might be wondering if both devices can work together in the same system. No worries! As long as both legacy and newer myLinks are running the latest firmware, they’ll work together.

To add a new myLink to a legacy system:
- Download and install the latest Somfy myLink app from iTunes or Google Play.
- Run the included firmware update on all legacy myLinks.
- Add a new myLink to the system by going to the main menu, selecting Add, and following the step-by-step instructions.
