What to do if Your RTS Motor Only Moves When You Hold Up or Down


Unplug the motor and plug it back in. Use the remote to check and see if the motor is working properly. If it is not, continue.

Press up and down on the remote at the same time and motor should jog. If it does not, please call Somfy or your awning manufacturer.

A jog is a brief in and out move of your motorized product.

If it does jog, press the programming button on the back of your remote. If it jogs again, check it using this remote.

If it does not jog again, unplug the motor and and refer to the related product programming video:
