Why is my awning retracting with no wind?
If you have a wind sensor paired to the awning like the image below, refer to the chart for a solution or watch this video.
Cause | Action |
The sensor is incorrectly inserted in the support. | Engage the sensor into the support. Make sure the base is installed correctly with the arrow point up. |
The radio link between the sensor and the motor does not work. | Replace the batteries with ones having exactly the same characteristics. If the awning still does not rise, check the sensor. Make sure the sensor is installed on the same side as the motor. |
The sensor is not operating. | Replace the batteries with ones having exactly the same characteristics. If the awning continues to rise, replace the sensor. When replacing the sensor, please refer to your certified installer/dealer to correctly clear the motor memory first. |
